John received a bachelor’s degree in economics from DePauw University and an MBA from the University of Miami (Coral Gables, Florida). He brings over 33 years of broad marketing experiences within the biopharmaceutical industry. He is the founder of Salt Creek Biosciences, which is a new product planning and business development consulting company working with start-ups and small to mid-sized pharmaceutical companies.
Held numerous marketing leadership roles with Lilly in the United States, Spain, South Korea, and Australia.
Launched Zyprexa (antipsychotic medication) in Australia, led the late lifecycle global marketing effort for Prozac (antidepressant medicine), and launched Cymbalta in the U.S. for both major depressive disorder and diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain.
John is a guest lecturer of marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is fluent in Spanish.
